Many people may be able to give anything to have a beautiful face and skin. However, it starts with simple everyday actions. Washing or cleansing your face seems pretty basic, but we all consider skipping this step from time to time or maybe we just don’t remember. If that happens, and you don’t clean your face it is really a problem? To find the answer to that, let’s take a look at the importance of this action and the implication in the long term.
Cleansing your skin removes the impurities that cling to your skin throughout the day. These impurities are essentially polluting particles, dust, and pollen. Even if we don’t see it with the naked eye, our face is loaded with dirt every day. This is one of the reasons why it is essential to clean your face every day, regardless of the season.
If you do not clean your skin, it does not automatically lead to acne, but it is a favorable factor in its appearance.
Tiny glands under the skin produce an oil called sebum, in order to form a protective barrier. The sebum travels through the hair follicular channels (pores) and reaches the skin’s surface. The microscopic channels are lined with skin cells that are continuously shed so that sebum, dirt, and other impurities are expelled from the pores and don’t clog the pores. An excessive buildup of dirt and grime can cause the follicles to become blocked, trapping oil, sweat, and dead skin cells. The lack of oil on the skin’s surface can also allow bacteria to penetrate the follicle, causing inflammation.
Cleaning the skin of the face is an essential habit to have a young and full of life face. Failing to take care of your skin can affect its appearance, which could lead to issues with self-confidence. When you look after your skin properly, the results can be amazing: a radiant and young skin. Who doesn’t want to look stunning?
Really clean skin is the best base for applying all your other skin care treatment products. Not only will your skin look great, but your products will penetrate better. Clean skin helps the active component of your products be absorbed. That's why cleansing is the first step in any skincare routine.
At night while we sleep, the cells receive a greater amount of oxygen and the skin tissues regenerate much faster, facing the aggressions it has suffered during the day. This is why the lack of sleep is reflected over the years in more marked wrinkles.
For these reasons it is important to prepare the skin every night, so that the regeneration cycle is carried out properly, avoiding premature aging of the facial skin.
In the morning it is also advisable to carry out a cleaning to eliminate the excess of fat produced during the night, returning its luminosity, and especially its youth since this is not a question of age but of quality of the skin.

The general rule says that two washes a day are more than enough. If you clean your face too often during the day, your skin may dry out, which can lead to irritation. Keep in mind that the number of times you clean your face may vary depending on your activities. For example, you should always wash your face after workout.
In addition to masks, creams, massages, or other habits that you have included in your daily skincare routine, do not miss these two-steps. It will not take more than 10 minutes a day and are the basis of beautiful skin.
Step 1. Remove the make-up
In the evening, ridding the skin of all traces of cosmetics, foundation, eyeshadow and other lipsticks is the first essential cleaning gesture to perform. All these residues are mainly composed of fats. If you don't wash your makeup off each night, the oily buildup can clog and inflame your glands.
Step 2. Clean your face
In addition to removing make-up, washing the skin of your face will help eliminate excess pollutants, grease, and other impurities accumulated during the day. Then apply a cleaner that will remove all the oil and dirt from your face that can be cleaned just with water.
Clean your face with cleansers that do not contain detergents or abrasive substances. Instead, look for the options closest to basic skin conditions, with a neutral pH to maintain balance and remove excess oil and debris.
